About Dr. Shane Krohnfeldt

One of the biggest principles that drives me as a healthcare professional is to provide high quality and long-lasting dentistry with integrity and honesty. I treat my patients as if they are my family, and my commitment is to make sure you feel comfortable at your visits and well taken care of.

I joined Academy Dental Care because of Drs. Gallagher and Gonzales’ vision, and their passion for high quality dentistry and the health and overall well-being of their patients. My goal is to make sure you’re comfortable, healthy, and able to smile confidently. I look forward to helping you achieve your dental goals.

I’m from Temecula, a small town in Southern California and I completed my undergraduate education at University of California, Santa Barbara. I later graduated from University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Before joining Academy Dental Care, I was practicing in San Diego, CA. I became acquainted with Dr. Gonzales through mutual peers and our alumni association, and I could not pass up the opportunity to move to Albuquerque to join the amazing team here at Academy Dental Care.

In my free time, I love going to restaurants, traveling, skiing, working out, and spending time with friends and family. I’m an avid golfer, so if you are too, chances are you’ll see me on the courses here in Albuquerque
